Almost graduation time - wouldn't it be fun to make this little cutie for a grad that you know?!  I made a video tutorial for you - just scroll down - and the complete list of supplies is at the bottom of this post. I was inspired by demonstrator Debbie Henderson, see Debbie's version here.

Here is a photo of the inside of the gift card holder.  The graduation hat and greetings images come from the Pure Gumption stamp set which is retiring at the end of May and will no longer be available.  Pick up your set: here for wood mount or here for clear mount, but remember, it is while supplies last so don't wait too long!

Here is the video tutorial on how to make this little darling owl.

I love the ruffled feathers on this card - those are made with the Tasteful Trim Die, which is also scheduled for retirement!!  Click here to order one for your Big Shot. The body of the owl is using the Window Frame Framelits - who knew they would make such a perfect owl?!

Graduation Card Ideas

For many, this is the month of a special high school or college graduation.  Do you know someone who is graduating this year?  Wouldn't they love one of these amazing graduation cards?

This first card was a swap card from Fiji and it was created by Susan Campfield.  Isn't this the cutest thing you've ever seen?  Everything she used is either a die cut or a punch!

Inside the card is a pocket for a gift card or cash.  What graduate wouldn't like one of those?

I also used the Window Frame Framelits on this bunny hutch project.
